Hometown
I am from Lexington, KY which is a little under 2 hours away from Williamsburg. My family has lived there since I was around 3 years old. It is not a huge city, but there are plenty of things to do there and it is easy to go visit whenever I would like to.
Major and Future Plans
I am double majoring in Mathematics and Christian Studies. I am a senior this year and will graduate this coming May! I am not sure what job I will be doing after I graduate, but I'm getting married this summer! Because my fiance has one year of school left after this, I plan on staying in the Williamsburg area for the time being.
My Relationship with the Internet
The internet has become a huge part of communication and education. I use it often to stay in touch with friends and family who are no longer geographically close to me, and for learning and completing my coursework. However, I have seen in my life that too much dependence on the internet can cause me to neglect the people around me. So, I have tried to be cautious and create boundaries for how often I spend time on the internet. And I have found ways to take breaks and step back from it without compromising necessities such as school.
